She graduated in Modern Languages and Literatures (English Literature) from UNAM, specializing in literary criticism and analysis as well as cultural studies. Her thesis is entitled ‘“Against this city of parasites, paradise:” The semantic and metaleptic representation of the “other” city in The OOZ by King Krule’.

She has worked as a teaching assistant to Dr. Susana González Aktories in the seminars ‘Literature and the Arts’ and ‘Literary Theory and Criticism I: Structuralism’ in semesters 2022-2 to 2023-2. Her areas of interest are postmodernist literature and intermedial studies, especially those related to music and literature, as well as the exploration of music video as remediation, topics which she has presented in various forums.

She joined PoéticaSonora MX in 2022, participating as a fellow of the PAPIIT project (IG400221) ‘Las representaciones de la voz y sus materialidades: archivos, impresos y sonido’ throughout that year. She is currently a volunteer collaborator to the project, helping in the organization of archives and in the creation of content for the website.
