Graduated in Modern Language and Literature (English Literature) from UNAM. She is currently working on her graduate project, a commented translation of Natalie Diaz’s poems considering the vocal performative aspect.

She participated in the PAPIME project (PE401219) ‘Hacia las literaturas extendidas y otras materialidades’ of UNAM, assisting in editorial work for the publication of the book Vocabulario crítico para los estudios intermediales, edited by Susana González Aktories, Roberto Cruz Arzabal, and Marisol García Walls in 2021.

She joined PoéticaSonora MX in 2020, first to fulfil her social service within the PAPIIT project (IG400519) ‘Materialidades de la voz: archivos, impresos y sonido’. She also joined the PAPIIT project (IG400221) ‘Las representaciones de la voz y sus materialidades: archivos, impresos y sonido’. She has collaborated in dissemination activities and in the writing of contents about different events and/or pieces, as well as interviews, all linked to experimental poetic practices, listening, and archiving. She was also part of the translation team for the book Oral Poetry by Ruth Finnegan. She is the author of the chapter ´Lugar de oídas: escucha de tres paisajes sonoros de Michoacán en los repositorios de Poética Sonora MX y del Laboratorio Nacional de Materiales Orales’ in the volume Oralidades en la era digital: archivos, activaciones, memorias y resonancias, edited as part of the PAPIIT project (IG400221) ‘Las representaciones de la voz y sus materialidades: archivos, impresos y sonido’ coordinated by Susana González Aktories and Mariana Masera.
