Bruno Armendáriz

He is a graduate in Modern Languages and Literatures (French Literature) from UNAM. He studied at the Université Jean Moulin of Lyon 3 during the semester 2023-1, and is currently writing a thesis entitled ‘The sound of absence: musical ekphrasis in Pascal Quignard’s Tous les matins du monde (1991)’.

In 2019 he co-founded Revista Cluster, a digital publication on music and literature that participated in the Laboratorio de Iniciativas Culturales UNAM, Piso16, in its 2021 edition. He has published articles in the academic journal Synergies Mexique and in the film criticism journal Icónica.

Bruno joined Poética Sonora MX in September 2023 with a grant by the PAPIIT project (IG400623) ‘Entre la voz y el impreso: fronteras y multimedialidad’. He is in charge of writing and editing the website.
