Doctor in Literature from UNAM, she wrote a dissertation on Beat poet Diane di Prima: ‘Figura y fluidez: autorrepresentación y movimiento en la obra temprana de Diane di Prima’, an investigation into bodily representations and the image of the author in the early work of the poet. She holds a BA and MA in Modern Letters from the Université Libre de Bruxelles.

She teaches literary theory at the Colegio de Letras Modernas of UNAM and literary criticism and translation of specialized texts at the ENALLT. She is also a translator of articles on contemporary art, books, academic articles, and poetry, and a researcher linked to the Seminar on Literary Theory and Criticism at the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters at UNAM.

She joined PoéticaSonora MX in 2019, first as a translator and then to become an integral part of the group. She was coordinator and responsible for the translation of the book Poesía Oral by Ruth Finnegan and authored the chapter ‘Reactivar el archivo de la voz: reflexiones sobre la traducción de Oral Poetry de Ruth Finnegan’ in the volume Oralidades en la era digital: archivos, activaciones, memorias y resonancias, published as part of the PAPIIT project ‘Las representaciones de la voz y sus materialidades: archivos, impresos y sonido’ (IG400221) coordinated by Susana González Aktories and Mariana Masera.
